Nobody belongs in a staged living – a staged room is not for living …

A hundred years ago they had the front parlor as a “staged” living room. Betty and Bub are just getting back to their roots.

Betty probably won’t let anyone into the room for fear of messing it up….now, where to relax and let your hair down?

This reminds me of a friend’s house when I was a youngster. Their living room furniture was covered in plastic and was only used when her parents had company. The entrance to the living room was a locked French door. My friend was never allowed in there. She used to joke “the living room is for nobody”.
