Remember, focus on trees, not windows.

We probably have at least that many, but all that matters are the squirrels. BARK!

I have been digging in my yard and found some fascinating specimens that I have submitted to a nearby school of archeology. My last submission was a prehistoric skull of a small pre-human. This was their response:

We have given this specimen a careful and detailed examination, and regret to inform you that we disagree with your theory that it represents “conclusive proof of the presence of Early Man two million years ago.” Rather, it appears that what you have found is the head of a Barbie doll, of the variety one of our staff, who has small children, believes to be the “Malibu Barbie”.

There was a movie about competitive bird watchers called The Big Year. It starred Owen Wilson, Steve Martin and Jack Black. It was a flop at the box office, but it’s surprisingly good. I recommend it even if you’re not into birding.

There used to be a double-breasted red-crested bird in the yard next door – I watched every day…

It would be nice to have the time to do other things than work. I am working longer hours now than I ever did when going to the office.
