Good one, Betty. Betting on human beings is hazardous, they tend to lie and cheat frequently. But with everyone possibly cheating, it’s still exciting. Just go with the best cheaters.
Personally I like to gamble, but I have a budget for entertainment. If I win it goes back into the budget unless I win big then I might enjoy my winnings. If I lose I don’t go over my limit. The problem is when the gambling becomes the focus and not the game.
Pretty much nailed it. I’m with Betty, but then I’ve never really had the time to sit down and watch a game, and if I did try it, I would start swearing at the TV for wasting so much time on ads. The only things I ever gamble on are compound interest and my wife’s good humor.
Going in to the playoffs I had four teams I was rooting for, or at least would be happy if any of them were to be the winner of the Stanley Cup. Now it’s down to one. And depending on Game 7, it might be down to none. And then the CFL season starts and I have 3 teams that I would be happy for if they were to win and one that I would be "meh’, and 2 that I would be happy for to not win the Grey Cup. I guess that makes the remainder of the league also a “meh.”

The professional stuff has been ruined by ads. Don’t gamble. You’re an adult. You know the odds and risks are against you.
