Nate: Dear Dad, We are here in Washington and it is awesome! Right now I am looking at the Washington monument out our hotel window. Pretty cool, eh? Nate: Speaking of hotels, I am sharing a room with Francis, "Mr. Clean." Can you believe he actually makes his bed in the morning even though the hotel has a maid?? How compulsive can you get? What a nimrod. Francis: I just can't get the ruffle straight! Nate: Anyway, Mr. Rosa is a great chaperone. Today he took us to the National Gallery of Art. There were lots of great paintings, but not a single Rusty Sienna!! I was in total shock. Nate: I got you something from the Art Museum gift shop - an XXL T-shirt. I asked if they had anything larger, but no dice. I also, in a moment of temporary insanity, bought some postcards for Ellen. Nate: Actually, ALL the museums have pretty awesome gift shops. At the Air and Space Museum, I bought a model of the "Spirit of St. Louis". And I bought a couple of dinosaurs at the Museum of Natural History. And of course I had to buy a couple of "No Newt Is Good Newt" bumper stickers. Nate: Well, gotta go! See you Friday! Love, Nate. P.S. - Forget what I said before about Francis being a nimrod. Actually, I would be lost without him. Nate: Can I borrow some more money for a stamp? Francis: From now on, I'm charging you interest.
Is Nate REALLY in Washington, D.C.?
