Big Nate by Lincoln Peirce for July 01, 2012
Transcript:
NATE: Het, Mister! MAN: Hm? What's up, kid? NATE: What are you doing to the school? MAN: Electrical work. Old buildings like this always need updating. NATE: How long will it take? MAN: Maybe a month, my boss said. NATE: But it could take MORE than a month, right? MAN: I suppose. NATE: And if the work's not finished by September, school can't open! There won't be any electricity! If you guys work slow, the entire school year might be in jeopardy! If you get my drift! MAN: We'll try not to let that happen. NATE: Oops! I dropped a dollar!
I have a feeling Nate doesn’t like school.
