Aaand he is back to being “Matt”. Going to guess he will exaggerate some stuff.

He’ll really be a legend then. Or the seventh graders might have done better pranks.

How many college kids does it take to change a lightbulb?
11: 1 to hold the bulb, and 10 to drink until the room spins.

Nate’s answer: “None. He just needs to teach the seventh-graders how to do it.” (Then run!) :-)

REALLY uncool, Trudy. Nate turned down a party where he knew he’d be comfortable and have a good time to be with you and you just threw him under the bus. You have all the makings of a social football-jock (sorry, guys; just representative of socially deaf, dumb and blind.)

You can already tell that something bad is going to happen. Will Francis,Teddy, and Chad come and save their friend?

What a seriously uncool thing to do! No matter how old you are, you don’t take someone to a party or some other event where they don’t know anyone there but you, then run off and abandon them! Mingling and making small-talk with perfect strangers can be a pretty difficult thing to do — especially for socially awkward people like Nate.
If Trudy wanted to go and just hang out with the girls, then she should have done Nate the favor of insisting he go without herto the 6th grade party he was invited to and they’d just talk later.

He’s about to find out!

Gee. I see that they have forgotten that it wasn’t long that ago that they were sixth graders too. And that’s that.

“How many sixth graders does it take to screw in a lightbulb” I have no idea why I find the line hilarious.

10/10 the kids face in the last panel would probably be his best school picture.

All of them except Nate. He sits around eating Cheez Doodles.

The girls are going upstairs to powder their noses, too. (Right…of course..)
