“So,” said nate to Francis and Teddy, “We need a plan.” They were standing behind a makeshift barrier of snow. Really, it was just a mound of snow. but we do not dwell on such things.“We could get ’em with a sneak attack,” Nate said. “Some of us could distract them while some stole their snowballs and broke their fort.”“You said ‘some of us’ twice.” Said Francis. “News flash, genius: there’s three of us. ‘Some’ generally implies at least two people.” “Guys! That could work, actually.” Said Teddy. “Randy doesn’t think strategically. he just thinks straight foward. He’ll just attack blindly.”“Yes,” Francis said, “but Zach Is really smart and Eva is… Meh. She’s good at reading people and figuring people out, but other than that, she’s not amazing.” he told them.“Well… Okay.” Nate said. It didn’t sound too bad. “Anyway, we need something that won’t just defeat them. We need to embarass them, scar them, and send them scampering home whith their tals between their legs.”“Oh, that won’t be hard,” Teddy informed him. “Just show ’em your face. BIG NATE AND THE MANSION MYSTERY: PART 1

Nate is waiting by the bus stop, sitting on the bench. It’s raining very hard, but luckily the bus stop has a roof over it, covering Nate. He’s waiting to go to Artur’s house as requested by his dad to “get together” with him. Francis and Teddy are also coming too. They’re not at the bus stop yet.

Nate: Ugh… stupid rain… thankfully this bus stop is covering me. I would’ve been soaked if it weren’t for that!

A couple more minutes pass. Nate looks to his right and finds Francis and Teddy, holding umbrellas. They spot Nate and sit next to him.

Teddy: Hey Nate!

Nate: Hey guys! So, uh… why did you two decide to go to Artur’s house with me?

Francis: Oh, we thought it would be nice to know him a bit better. Like, he could show us his favorite hobbies, activities, interests…

Teddy: Yeah! It’s sort of like a… oh, what was the word again? Ah, yes… playdate! Ha!

Nate: Shut up, Teddy, or I’ll noogie you into the rain.

Teddy: Okay, okay, fine!

Teddy giggles behind his back. The bus still hasn’t arrived yet. It was supposed to arrive at this point.

They all hear a honk. They all think it was the bus. As it gets closer, they realize… it’s not a bus, but actually a LIMOUSINE. It pulls over and a window gets rolled down, revealing Artur.
