Someone predicted that Nate would point that out yesterday, and they were right. Kind of says something about the predictability of this strip.

Also, I remember Nate did get traded one time, but went back to his old team. I don’t know when the date was.

Chad should honestly keep his mouth shut for the rest of the comic. If there’s an arc where Chester Gorrilla Glues his mouth shut i’d be fine with it.

Honestly kinda predictable. I didn’t know for sure if Lincoln Peirce knew what this slang meant but apparently, he does.

Also, Is Nate requesting a trade for himself, or for Chad? Probably himself but you can never be absolutely sure.

Yup…….down in the basement, and sittin’ flat on the floor…..seems to me that each consecutive time the guys are stuck with a humiliating name, they have to hang by it for the whole season…….all they can do is try to make lemonade out of lemons, so to speak…..get laughed at, mocked, riled…..and then hit homers and strike ’em out! I think Teddy needs to explain to Nate for the 2nd time that names don’t matter, because with having Chester as the cheat code, they’ll most likely win every game and have those other teams who make fun of the team will lose, and end out looking like idiots
