Peirce has been stretching out this arc lately

if Nate hadn’t leaned into Daphne’s conversation to Gina about him being a nice guy, Jenny wouldn’t have told Dee Dee and others

as stated in the Big Nate novel 2: News spreads fast in the 6th grade.

Nate, do you still remember “JENNY, M’ LADY!” You should just walk up to Daphne and say “Daphne, m’ lady!”

Nice filler, bet everyone didn’t see this coming, totally not obvious at all. Unless ofc Dee Dee’s was watching from afar. But we already know that didn’t happen

Obviously was Jenny the chatterbox, who else? I hope she only told to Dee Dee and she didn’t go tell it to Gina. Telling Gina could have terrible consequences for Nate and let’s wait until Kim will be involved.

Jenny’s revenge, I reckon…..all those years of Nate trying to attach himself to her like a barnacle……paybacks are….HECK!!

I don’t see this as arc stretching, but instead making it more realistic.

Also good to have Dee Dee not be some OP romance spotter, it’s funnier if Jenny just tells her.
