    (((((((((TRIBE)))))) Good morning.

Things are much better on this end, though. Tuesday my spouse went and camped out on the Employment Agency’s doorstep until someone was able to assist. Things are straightened out and Friday we got the ‘catch up’ check. That’s good because insurance is due on the 27th and I was looking at selling my engagement ring…..

Wednesday my Pastor asked me for my car keys during choir practice. I knew he was going to drop off a bag of foodstuffs like peanutbutter. I got home and I had an overflowing laundrybasket of groceries to bring in. I’m set for the next couple of weeks, including Thanksgiving. That gives breathing room as I try to knock the finances back into a semblence of order.

Next week is a short week, and I’m on vacation the following week. My karma overfloweth today so I’m putting a large deposit of karma in the bank. Take what you need, today it’s good karma.

Got to run, Hope to be checking in later!

Not easy to do when you’re an admitted packrat [especially with books, magazines and videos] but I’ll try. Wish me luck.

Or I might just stay on here and keep them all, but most of them I haven’t even looked at for months or even years. HELP!!!!!!!!

I have 98% of my stuff in a craftstore in Ladson, and in the past 3 months nothing has sold. Hardly anthing of anyone’s has sold.(there are about 8-10 featured artists), I have a necklace which is getting lotsa complements but no buyers….and it’s only $60, very cheap for the type and work. Ah well, like you said, keeps me off the streets.

Anyway I hope you do well at your craft sale. Take care!

(Guess Who at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto in around 1974) all i remember is partying up in the nosebleeds, and again on the bus ride home - since it was a school function (barely). what a blast! Guess Who are my favourite band ever, though the Beatles, AC/DC, and Zep follow close behind on my personal hit parade.

I have gotten through some of my mags. I made 2 piles, one to keep and one to go. Now I just have to keep from putting anything from the to-go pile back on the keep pile.

Doc selling your archives on ebay might work. I am always amazed at the stuff people are trying to sell. But if you are serious [you’re not, are you?] make really sure or you’ll want it all back as soon as it sells. Maybe it would just be easier to add another room?

Saucy i thought the smart car was an interesting principle when i bought my last new car in 2005, but had to pass on it when i saw that it wouldn’t even hold my golf clubs (unless i put them in the passenger seat - which wasn’t going to happen). “clown car” seems an apt description. and for what you’d pay for one you could have a full sized car (or any way, a compact).

with all the driving vacations i’ve done in the last four years, i’m very glad i bought the Malibu. on my trip through western Canada, i got almost 33 mpg - which included a week of driving in mountains - for a trip of over 6800 miles. it’s a bit thirsty in town, but it’s built for highway cruising and i can actually stretch in it, so it’s very comfortable to drive. and i’ve seen smart cars on the highway and think the drivers are insane, desperate, or both.

took me 5 minutes to type the last post because i had to convert from km to miles and to mpg from L/100km (which i think is a stupid rating so i usually think in terms of km/L) and US gallons instead of Canadian.

Point was, you asked if anyone was around. It was an hour before I saw it, so I answered. Tongue firmly planted in cheek.

(I always do enjoy comments that deny being a comment. From my days studying metaphysics.)

Doc - Good evening. Shopping puts me into a trance. That’s something like sleep I guess.

Doc - I have a cousin like that. Fortunately, she has plenty of money, but she feels guilty if she leaves a shop without buying something. She has clothes in her closet that she has never worn. I think it’s got to be some kind of sickness.

I am here. My wife got tired watching the movie and went to bed. It is pouring outside. At least it held out all day and waited until tonight.
