I overslept and came running to Big Top expecting thousands of comments to read before I post my idiocy. Only 8 posts? I’m disappointed. Guess I’ll have to break my rule and come back at lunchtime.

LONEWOLF has again shown his culinary, er writing skill in giving us another wonderful breakfast. May I please have an order of refritos con arroz? Just fill the Grand Canyon with DOC’S NUC COFFEE and give me a long straw (since a certain DOC still hasn’t completed the promised pipeline to my neck of the wood)

Morning TRIBE! I have to go to Home Depot and return something for HER. You know how men like returning things? “You bought it, it’s yours” should be the rule Let the buyer beware. I’ll stand in line to have some pimple face ask “What’s the matter? Didn’t know what you needed?”

Note to men: Never bring your wife to the hardware store. They find things for the house and projects for you Never Never Never! bring your wife fishing. They either complain or worse yet, like it.

Now, now, don’t “answer a matter before you hear it”. This could turn out to be an interesting arc. It could well be a delicate high-wire act, as you appreciate, but let’s just see how it plays out.

Meanwhile, among my many buttonized graphics are the many CD labels I use on iTunes. Here’s one for a recording which you might want to check out on SAVAE.org:

Rmom not sure who your referring to as diamondplate. For me only reason I chose Medical Encoding and Billing because I wish to type on computer data base. My field I’m in is dying. With so many people outa work I need something different. I tried with clerical in Wichita Public school didn’t work out. I don’t want to say which dept I’m in, but doors have been cloosing there. Sorta have a hiring freeze. City office if I had been selected for position there I would have been let go due to budgets. Federal for SSA has said no. Kock Ind with no higher education from actual college they said no. Who knows after spending money and time medical positions same way. Other wise like many Medical Transcription.

Close to where I live neighbor’s both work at Cessna and they are prepared for a strike. That is if Cessna doesn’t do what former Beach Craft /Rathan wants to move work elsewhere like Louisana.

Kab I don’t do coding, but learned my medical terminology in the bad old days before PC and internet (B.S. in 1981, M.S.Ed. in 1984). I learned the old fashioned way….made flash cards. Index card with term on one side definition on the other.

I go by the strategy that “He who can laugh at himself, will never cease to be amused.” There are all sorts of benefits to losing my memory… I can hide my own Easter eggs. Buy my own gifts and still be surprised. Hear the same joke more than once, and find it just as funny the second time around.

It would be good to check with them first. From what I’ve heard B12 doesn’t conflect with antthing and has no bad effects (you could eat it by the bowl full without harm). Supposedly as you get older you have less and need it for brain and nerve functions. Some meds like anti-acid etc. reduce it. It’s cheap and sublingually is just as effective as a shot. Check with the doctors though, it may not hurt and might help. Just mentioned it as somthing to think about.

I heard a comedian (an older man) that had a routine about how good it was losing your memoriy. Every morning he could get up and see a new eptsode of I Love Lucy. It saved money too. When his son asked him about missing his birthday (and presents) he could look at him and say “Who are you?”

I’ll have to ask about it during my next visit - if I can remember.

Thank you so much for caring, tribesters

I’m on my way to sleep later than I planned since we will be up early but the Chiefsare making some noise and I am astounded….21-7 in KC favor. Can you believe it? I Must scurry now for sure while it is still good for KC!!

    Stay safe, peoples.
