Hi, Lonewolf! That three-egg omelette, hash browns, and (of course) CocoMocha sound excellent… at the usual time. Meanwhile, I’m going to wade through the comics and then go to bed.

Good morning, tribe!
While reading the local news (on-line) I ran across this link in the Wichita paper. I haven’t been in Towne West Mall for several years, so I hadn’t seen this store before. It is one of a kind! I think Luv will find it of particular interest, but there’s something for almost everyone.
I’ll hane a Three egg omelete with cheese and Hash Brown Potatoes.
Thanks for the link Rmom. Next time I;m there I’ll try to stop by and visit the store. So far the only one in the nation! Reminds me of a store I saw on W. Central a few years ago. I never went in but havn’t forgotten it’s name - Coffins “R Us.
Rmom I believe that store would be up Luv’s alley. Let’s see if she thinks so too. I’m kinda partial to the diamondplate one’s if the medical school wasn’t my recipient.
Hello Rmom a friend of my daughter sent that link to me and I agree BBS LuvH8 would like it. Though this is a legimate company at Town West Square.
There is another one on W Central.
DDFenceEMET I corrected I guess my mistake though I’ve seen others use shorter words.
I’ve been working on text books typing. I guess rain is coming Thurs.
Rmom not sure who your referring to as diamondplate.
For me only reason I chose Medical Encoding and Billing because I wish to type on computer data base.
My field I’m in is dying. With so many people outa work I need something different.
I tried with clerical in Wichita Public school didn’t work out.
I don’t want to say which dept I’m in, but doors have been cloosing there. Sorta have a hiring freeze. City office if I had been selected for position there I would have been let go due to budgets. Federal for SSA has said no. Kock Ind with no higher education from actual college they said no.

Hi, RwB & Frankr!
Thanks for adding to my education, RwB - my hubby probably knows the technical term is “diamondplate”, but I didn’t know it. However, as soon as you mentioned “chromed” I knew instantly what you’re referring to.
Hey SojoFrankr that has been me after too much beer. Thankfully age has limited me and now I fall asleep before the too much part. I’m the real life of the party.
Hi tribesters Just popping in to say I won’t be around tomorrow and not sure how the rest of the week will play out. I will note that The Cowboy game was a bummer for their fans!
Have a couple of family in the hospital…Tomorrow is the day My daughter-in-law is having a tumor removed from the lining of her brain and a niece we thought was improving is now in ICU. Appreciate if you would send good thoughts and prayers our way for them.
Be kind to each other and have fun in the Big Top.
And, I feel I should add that I have it on good authority, as well as personal experience, that DocT’s World Famous Nuclear Coffee, good as it might be, is still not as good as a religious experience, although it is better than founding your own religion.
Or maybe that just means I’m not preparing it right?
Here’s a quote that seems appropriate since football season just started:
“Football incorporates the two worst elements of American society: violence punctuated by committee meetings.” ~ George Will
Because, LuvH8, we
(1) love you,
(2) know you,
(3) know that, even though you didn’t do it, you still were responsible, that nine times out of ten, we can trace the origin of something to you–except when someone like me incites you to it, and sits in the back smirking at what happens, and
(4) we still love you.
The football huddle was invented at the Gallaudet University, for the education of the deaf and hard of hearing, when the team noticed an opponent team trying to read their signals.
See:

Kab I don’t do coding, but learned my medical terminology in the bad old days before PC and internet (B.S. in 1981, M.S.Ed. in 1984). I learned the old fashioned way….made flash cards. Index card with term on one side definition on the other.
I go by the strategy that “He who can laugh at himself, will never cease to be amused.”
There are all sorts of benefits to losing my memory…
I can hide my own Easter eggs.
Buy my own gifts and still be surprised.
Hear the same joke more than once, and find it just as funny the second time around.
It would be good to check with them first. From what I’ve heard B12 doesn’t conflect with antthing and has no bad effects (you could eat it by the bowl full without harm). Supposedly as you get older you have less and need it for brain and nerve functions. Some meds like anti-acid etc. reduce it. It’s cheap and sublingually is just as effective as a shot. Check with the doctors though, it may not hurt and might help. Just mentioned it as somthing to think about.
I heard a comedian (an older man) that had a routine about how good it was losing your memoriy. Every morning he could get up and see a new eptsode of I Love Lucy. It saved money too. When his son asked him about missing his birthday (and presents) he could look at him and say “Who are you?”
I’ll have to ask about it during my next visit - if I can remember.
At least losing my memory isn’t painful - most of the time. (It can be painful when I forget something is there and hit my head or other body part on it.)
hopeandjoy2 I hope this is not to late and you get to read this, I’m gonna break rules here all, My God be your Dr.s guide as they work with your love ones. May they also get the brain tumor out with no effects. There I said it.
