Hello again ♥Little Sister♥ brought up something to me. For me I’m on central time zone when gocomics or BT changes this is few minutes after midnight for me and if I’m up them I’m having trouble sleeping. She told me where she lives GC changes at 10pm in your time zone what time does change over happen if your up at that time? For The Sojourner and SRmom we are on the same time zone.
Morning, ♥Kab♥, SR Mom, ♠Lonewolf♠, & pseudo!♥Kab♥, you must be in Central Time; Mountain Time changes over at/about 11:00 p.m., and Pacific Time would be 10 p.m. (On the East Coast, they have to wait until 1 a.m.)
I knew a friend who had a friend that lived off the land mostly. In the mid-70’s he married a woman with a child. He complained that his monthly grocery bill had grown to $11.
Hello soon be time for me to leave. And I live on central standard time, weatherman talking about rough weather. I’m not going but a sports arena is hosting a concert with Tim McGraw
**Fritzoid’s definition of a cat’s function is as follows: Their function is primarily decorative, like throw pillows that rearrange themselves on the furniture.
We don’t have cats now, but that’s the only reason my husband would tolerate them – out of the house. With living out in the country and in copperhead country, it is essential we keep the rodents out of the areas we’re in. At least there are better designed traps than there used to be.
I live on the western edge of the Flint Hills, which is about as far west as copperheads live. Sojo & Kab live further west, so they don’t have copperheads. And yes, we’ve seen them here, so it isn’t just hearsay.
I haven’t seen them, but there is always a possibility. I’ve seen several varieties of snakes in our area, but thankfully, not real often, because I do NOT like them. When the kids were much younger, if I was driving (and not in a hurry), if there was a snake roadkill, we’d stop and view it from the safety of our vehicle. I kept a snake ID book in the glove box, and so would look it up. Taught me to recognize the more dangerous from the harmless ones, so now when I see a snake slither in or around the garage, I know whether it is important to find it and kill it, or not.
Eh, they usually live underground anyway, so they’ll probably be safe. I’d rather lose some, but then on the other hand, can you imagine how mad a snake would be if a tornado picked it up and dropped it? I’ve heard of raining cats and dogs, but snakes? No, thanks!
Rmom – The link works. Thanks about the watch. I noticed the light blinking on my weather radio, it;s not set to make an alarm for a watch. I also have weather alerts to my phone from KWCH but they are almost after the fact.
That’s one way that I’m surprised now that our neighbors didn’t threaten to keep our dog off their property. No leash laws out here, and too much fur for the shock collar for the invisible fence to work on him. He also could climb right up a cattle panel or chain link fence when he was a pup. (Watched him do it.)
Well, it is a little late now to shave his neck. He died a few years back. But I kept snugging up his collar, hoping the two probes could part the fur and reach skin. Later discovered they’d made a couple of holes in his skin. Decided at that point, it just wasn’t going to work for him.
Maybe I will just have to be My LuvH8 for another generation? Monkey 1 is comparing her baby to fruit, last week it was the size of a blueberry ( _ yummy, blueberry sauce over cheesecake_ ). This week it is the size of a raspberry and is getting features.
