    Maybe green beans should be cooked in bacon grease and sprinkled with bacon bits before serving. Bacon makes everyithing better.

    My mother grew green beans in her vegetable garden, unfortunately. I think they were the only vegetable that really grew well. Come the harvest we had them every day for dinner. (Shudder). I still hate ’em to this day.

    Both sets of relatives north and south of the Mason-Dixon had that recipe…. Only way I’d eat em..Good morning TRIBEANDALL and GROG and Luv.pageant update:OMG!! There’s 78 contestants in both Miss USA and Teen USA. That girl has more stage savvy than 90% of them.She’s gotta be top 5 in Teen. I’m biased, naturally, but the moms and other girls her age that sat this one out or didn’t get invited to compete are saying the same. Oh did I mention this is invitation only?     Green Beans for three hungry people (or five polite people): sauté a teaspoon or two of mustard seed in butter in a frying pan until it starts to pop, then add green beans and a little bit of water, cover and steam the beans lightly. Be sure you cover the pan, or you’ll have mustard ALLLLLLLLLL over the kitchen.

    I, as a rule, don’t like legumes, but I love corn, brocolli, cauliflaur, carrots, peppers, lettuce & cellery. I love pork but can take or leave beef. I love salmon, but am indifferent to most other types of fish. I will not even look at sushi.

    Grog – I watched less then half of the Chiefs game and then couldn’t stand to watch anymore. Boy were they bad. 5 penilties for 55 yards in a little past the first quarter.

    Hello all what a busy two days. I got real late. Saturday Argri culture changed the way we had to do things. When one has a display, cart, product, and cash register stolen from a business hauler at night makes it bad. This happened last year to them. The law will not touch the thiefs who did this. I also made a mistake had chocolate last Saturday not much either cost me sleep.

    Hmm! I’m weird! I like chocolate shakes and ice cream, but hate chocolate cakes, pudding, brownies, fudge and candy bars. Those leave an after taste in my mouth and make me crave for more. So I wont touch them.
