I posted, but it’s a no show. Sometimes, I use invisible ink… maybe I used too much. Seriously, even the system says it’s updated. I have no clue. I posted another one, so maybe it will update later.
That’s weird. On my profile page it shows the strip with the vulture and the smily faces as a recent favorite, but on the favorites page that one is blank like here. Go figure.
Thom one thing that does stick out about using the more/print option is that the comic is much more pixelated than normal, maybe your save/upload prefs got tweaked.
This is why we don’t give most computers legs - tell them to go jump off a cliff and they would.
Uh, Tribe, the tribute is still continuing! If you click on the tag “The TRIBE” (or the other tags), you’ll see the cartoon. “Happy Hunting Ground”, indeed - a reference to Indians if there ever was one. Thanks, Thom!
(Psst! I’d be fascinated to learn what you could do with a charioteer. That’s what rakkav means in biblical Hebrew. Hate to bait you, but it’s the only way I’ll ever find out…)
All I can say is this just PROVES how much more important the reader is than the cartoonist! Even without a cartoon, this has to be one of my funniest ever… wait, maybe I’d make funnier cartoons if they were all blank…
thanks to KingRat for the link that allowed me to see this strip. Thom if you want to go blank, you might try an empty panel with the caption, “insert pun here.”
just a thought…
Using copy paste as HTML source and then using a find/replace on http I calculate that Thom has 1531 tags. You better watch out for the police graffiti division.
Interesting thing you will never need to know:
Graffito is the singular form of Graffiti
If you insult yourself one more time as a cartoonist and a humorist I’m going to update my knowledge of computer programming, create the worst computer virus in history and infect your computer with it by remote control. All out of spite.

This is probably setting a record for most comments on a blank screen. Maybe it was my nudity yesterday. LOL

Dry I can just HEAR you taunting us. ROFLMAO!
cleo you are probably right. Somebody closed the window so no one would have to see the neckid man.

thanks KingRat.

Did you say you were drawing a blank today Thom?
Bargrove about 15 years ago
Dear D Frog. It’s blank verse. Well, it couldn’t be much “verse” than it is. Four PM and still no pictures.
Bargrove about 15 years ago
Sandflea is right. Put Birdbrains in the “Find a comic” spot
and voila. Or is that viola? (Tommy Smothers)
klinkerlrb about 15 years ago
The coments are probably funnier than the strip would have been.
KingRat about 15 years ago
DF this is what it looks like when Thom draws a blank:

King Rat -
Wow, what a memory! That time I did it on purpose. I wasn’t even sure if I should have signed it. This time, well…
klinkerlrb -
You are correct - the commenst are ALWAYS funnier than my stupid cartoon!
Thom
cleokaya about 15 years ago
KingRat I had completely forgotten that strip . You are right on top of things today. Thom, I do not remember, did I ever see a stupid cartoon by you?
KingRat about 15 years ago
Thom my memory isn’t that good its just that you do an awesome job of tagging your own comics. (tagged blank)
Coyoty Premium Member about 15 years ago
Looks like they’re in a pack, man. Or maybe they’re attending Emoti-Con. After the tabloids get tired of furries, they’ll go after ‘moties.
thombluemel Premium Member about 15 years ago
cleo -
ALL my cartoons are stupid. That’s why I named it Birdbrains. Too late, I learned that birds actually have brains - and use them.
KingRat - Are you calling me a “tagger?” (By the way, wasn’t “King Rat” a great movie?!)
Coyoty - Emoti-Con! Excellent! By the way, do Coyotes ever get cooties - coyote cooties?

Cooties are a social disease. Coyotes are antisocial so we’re immune.
