Grog, or very clever ad placement. (not to worry, Thom, I don’t really think that)
I see a rather unhappy face in the dust clouds between the horses and I stared at the spots on the horses’ hindquarters long enough, because I wanted one to be there, that I can see one in the gray by the base of the closest hores’s tail. And there’s a face in the tail of that horse looking down. But dangit, MontanaLady, I need help with any wagon faces.
LaflinLarry……Do you see the top of the wagon where the bowframes are holding up the canvas? There are some slants for eyes, and the frame, and a little mouth. At least, my imagination sees that. Could be wrong…….:))
I once worked with an Indian and another Anglo on a temporary job. The family name he used, if memory serves, was Brown, but he said he had a traditional Indian name and dared us to guess what it was. The other Anglo immediately piped up with “Squatting Buffalo” in a brilliantly deadpan voice, and all three of us cracked up with laughter.
The Indian pointed out that buffalo don’t “squat” when they excrete, but he said the guess was close. It was rather prosaic in his opinion: “Buffalo Hide”.
Incorrect or not, I find “Squatting Buffalo” a whole lot funnier than “Two Dogs Whatever”. But that’s just me. Maybe it’s because I’ve never actually heard the joke put with that punchline, believe it or not.

This could be bad for the cowboys - They’ll claim they were assaulted, but the natives will claim it was concentric….

Ah bleeep, I messed up in sending the smoke signal to my people! (I’m 1/2 native) … I’ll have to take signal classes.
Mornin’ Thom, oh Mighty Powerful Chief … Good to see you’re drawing yourself in the comics now. haha

With a name like Flapping Gums, failure to check his smoke mail is NOT this poor indians only problem…..
