My parents badgered my hubby about what to get him for Christmas a couple of years ago. He finally told them “socks” and they gave him a paper-sized box of them. We stopped giving gifts soon after that to the adults inthe family, and now concentrate on the 3 grandchildren. Thank heavens.
I also don’t know if Calvin had a 124-page Christmas list. What could Skip want this year anyway? Maybe it’s divided into three groups: 1) Bark-tronic gizmos for Bleeker, 2) toys for Skip and 3) what isn’t really needed (socks and the sort).

He still hasn’t worn some of the socks.

Nice pen there in the first panel.

Still better than underwear … for most kids, anyway.
