Reminds me of a graduation ceremony at Cornell U. several years ago – the stadium was full of grads, professors, alumni, parents and family, all seated and listening to a congratulatory speech by the president. And then out of the clouds came a small plane towing a banner that read, “Congratulations Sally, we love you – Mom and Dad”. The plane’s engine was making a loud racket, drowning out the speech as it circled the stadium over and over and over and … Sally was probably mortified, or should have been.
