Red wine with fish!!! Horrors!

May I have some ketchup?

“I rarely say something like this, but the ‘medium’ salmon was well done, chef.”

Good job , all the fish Parasites are dead and may now be eaten with the fish ;-)

That’s how I feel when I have to grill a steak for someone who wants it well done.

Better say it was good, or you may be sipping that wine through a straw!

Overcooked salmon is one thing; red wine with fish is an abomination!

In an experience I had with a Chef, it seems that what the diner thinks as “medium” is half done. The Chef thinks it should be almost raw. I hope Chefs out there don’t take offense.

I think Henry had the diner drinking red wine on purpose.

I remember once when I was in a very upscale restaurant in Thailand and I ordered steak “towards well done.” I was told that in no uncertain terms that the chef did not do well-done. So I had seafood instead, which by the way was muy, muy, delicioso. You could select your seafood from a tank of live critters. I discovered that in the restaurants without snooty chefs I could get a “towards well done steak.”
