You should not rely on a cartoonist for a medical diagnosis.

This doesn’t mean the cat will stop tripping him down the stairs and trying to eat his face.

You’re going to need to do a concussion protocol when he wakes up.

Classic unconscious giveaway. Swirling headstones are a dead giveaway.

Really? The dog would lie down, next to him.

Cat would step over him and continue on.

Oh well, it’s okay then.

This is, without doubt one of the best anthropomorphisms I have ever seen. The only exception to this might be that the cat is not dominant.

I always thought a cartoonist was a guy who played music in his vehicle.

If he was dead his eyes would be Xs.

Cats and dogs can see things that humans can’t.

This has the bite of the early cartoons in this series with the improved drawing of the latter work.

I guess Ed Yong (“An Immense World”) is right in pointing out that species other than us can see, hear and sense things that we are oblivious to.

He’s fine ….. might have a slight headache ……. and possibly a bump ….. or two on his head …… also maybe a stitch or two ….. but otherwise he’s fine ….. :)
