Earth day was started in 1970, and the poor old planet was in pretty rough shape back then, but we have made great strides since then. Yes, more can be done, and should be, but to ignore the progress made and claim the Earth is on the brink of destruction just to make a point is a little bit drama-queenish. The best thing we can do to sustain our home is to reduce, or at least stabilize, the number of humans.

Drama Queenish would make a good name for a band.
