Did Obama give you the Hope and Change you wanted for America??? The press is doing their very best to keep Trump from being elected, yet he still prevails. The corruption of the Clinton’s is clear….Bill is doing his best to keep his wife out of prison, and being the ex-president he probably has enough pull.
Donald Trump is not the problem. He is just the symptom of something deeply rooted in America, festering in the heartlands. People fearful of so many things. People who believe a Trans woman is just a guy in a wig who wants to molest their daughters. people who believe that latinos who risk their lives to come to our country to pick our tomatoes for poor wages are bad people. They fear their own government, despite their own control. They fight tooth and nail for gun rights, but don’t care much about voting rights. They love the Constitution as long as it works only in their favor. They are fighting for a return to the past, when they felt more comfortable, but everyone else struggled against hate and oppression. They believe that America is no longer Great. They have been lied to by people with a vested interest in making them angry to keep them under control. They are being told to ignore science and facts because that is a Liberal conspiracy. Millions upon millions of dollars are being spent to formulate their opinions, hidden as grass roots organizations. Like their Tea Party. Founded and Funded by the Koch brothers, lying to people about where the money was coming from, and who was organizing it. Large oil companies funding climate denial research, which is then touted as truth over proven facts, just to claim doubt so that their controlled masses won’t vote for people who want fix the problem. Donald Trump is not the Problem, he is just the festering tip on top of a mountain of pus. And if we are not careful, he will be our next President.
Donnie is a cheap con. He’s gotten by with a combination of his daddy’s money and an ability to con the ignorant. I suspect he will do himself in, but his followers won’t go away. Stay tuned and fasten your seatbelts.
Hmmm, Berkley seems to be saying that we all need to be a little nicer to each other and to throttle back on the insane outrage the country is going through and then I read the comments. The irony is staggering. I think it may be time to go full on prepper and start constructing chicken coops, raised bed gardens and a fortified bunker or was that fortified chicken coops and raised bed bunkers.
When I was in grade school I had a pretty cool nun for one of my teachers. I was able to get her to agree that if I merely spelled a so-called “cuss word” in her presence, then she would be offending herself: I was only pronouncing letters. But I could never get her to agree that if I actually went ahead and said the so-called “cuss word” then I wouldn’t be offending her, she would still be offending herself! She did at least agree with my theory that it was pretty silly that “dang” was considered to be “stronger” than “darn”, and “damn” was considered to be stronger than “dang.” All these years later I rarely cuss, even though I consider some of the comments on here to be pretty weird dang things…….
Conservative pundit David Brooks:“I’ve been confused about this Paris climate conference and how the world should move forward to ameliorate climate change, so I séanced up my hero Alexander Hamilton to see what he thought. I was sad to be reminded that he doesn’t actually talk in hip-hop, but he still had some interesting things to say.
First, he was struck by the fact that on this issue the G.O.P. has come to resemble a Soviet dictatorship — a vast majority of Republican politicians can’t publicly say what they know about the truth of climate change because they’re afraid the thought police will knock on their door and drag them off to an AM radio interrogation."
In reply to your questions…..I stand behind what I wrote and do not consider it BS at all. I think it is very clear that the media do not want Trump as President. Even a good number of Republicans do not want him as President. I do not think things are better now…..Isis is a direct result of Obama. He drew the line in the sand in Syria and the Syrian government crossed that line…remember his statements on chemical warfare? When he backed down….he showed his weakness…America’s weakness…thus Isis came to power. If you need to blame someone for the terrorist bombings in France and Turkey, then Obama is directly to blame.
