If Cheney had only slept instead of plotting against the USA, we’d be far less dependent on oil/coal, we would have killed the Big 3 of Al Qaeda and taken the org down prior to it decentralizing, we would have cred ability against IRan and N Korea, our military would not be degraded as it is, and our economy would have had a small correction instead of the tailspin it has been in.
Iran had hostages under Jimmy Carter and refused to let them go until Reagan became the president.
I'll never understand why militarist warmongers think that this is some sort of anti-Carter, pro-Reagan fact. It's not as if Reagan obtained their release; they were released on Inauguration Day. The Iranian revolutionaries did this because they hated Carter but didn't hate Reagan. What does that tell you!?
