Many years ago, in Columbus, OH, a short-lived fast-food start-up named “Turkey Trot” featured turkey-based items, one of which was battered and fried bites of turkey dark meat called “Gobblettes”.
I liked the Galloping Gourmet and Julia Child when I was a kid. They would get completely blotto while they cooked, and while I was too young to know what they were really up to, I thought they were hilarious.
These new cooking shows drive me crazy with the health craze nonsense. I like the guys who grill and spare nothing. What’s better than barbeque? I already know how to cook.

Might have been similar to penguin “niblets”.

Now everyone run down to the store and pick up a Perdue, Oven Stuffer Penguin, and cook along with the show.
Gillbill, I can’t handle 2 minutes of Rachel Ray.
