There seems to be a flaw in the Institute’s calculations, as the Drift has been increasing in magnitude. There is also a southward sheer effect. So, make that China rather than Russia….
And “Barackaclaus” adding to the debt is excuseable? You libs…grab a joint and go sit in the corner because your kind is being aborted out of existence or being reduced in number by non-productive “marriages”!
Amen! The republicans are quick to dub the democrats as tax and spend. However, the republicans are borrow and spend. It’s interesting to look at all the past presidents and the deficits and surpluses. In almost every case, the republicans are in the deficit and the dems are in the surplus. The reason for Obama being in the deficit is that the republicans made such a mess before hand.
“Creationism” (the belief all things were created by God 6,000 years ago in 6 literal 24-hour days) is foolishness. However, “Creation” (the belief that God created all things an undetermined time ago over a period of many, many years) is fact. Evolution is magic.
@surfstuff55-Okay…it’s a little disturbing and awkward that two of you want me to drop trou and bend over, and one of you wants me to make it slicker….-Though I appreciate being found attractive after all these years, I am a straight male with a lovely wife of 30 years, and you can meet each other and do whatever makes you happy. :-)
Believe what you want, but you have proven only that you are not talking about science. “Truth” (with a capital T) has no place in science. “Fact” has limited use, even in lower case. You can say it’s a fact that you discovered a fossil or made a measurement. How either is interpreted must always be open to interpretation and/or verification.

There was just an earthquake in Maine. The GOP chairman there also said “dozens” of black people voted in an equally seismic event.

Probably more true today than it was when originally published 30 years ago.
