Our six year old daughter tried something like that on us. She handed us a sheet of paper and said we needed to sign it. She wouldn’t let us see what was written on the other side. We explained that we would not sign anything without reading it. She had pur together a contract. She is bi-lingual and we live in Germany so she wrote it in German. Miss-spelled the word for contract (Fertrag instead of Vertrag) and listed certain privileges she wanted, basically about deciding all sorts of things on her own. It was very cute. Years later she told us how much thought she had put into it and that she decided to try not to go too far with her demands. Smart kid. She is grown now and still knows very much what she wants and is willing to work hard to achieve her goals and yet is still kind and empathic. My wife and I couldn’t be happier.

“¿Que paso?”—?? A misprint for “¿Que peso?” or (loosely translated) “Show me the dough”?

No smoking in the patient’s rooms. Evidently, the only rule Steve follows.
