are you kidding? that’s why I got into this game in the first place…
but as i got deeper and deeper into this abyss, i learned to love the long hours, the stress of not being able to think of any ideas, the long hours, the alienation from the real world to draw, the long hours, the low pay, the long hours, the complete engulfment of myself into my art, the long hours, the hump in my back from sitting so long at my drawing board, the long hours, the under appreciation of what i do as an art form, the long hours, the sacrifices made to get that last panel done, the long hours…
still, it’s the best job in the world. at least for me.
so, even if there WERE groupies (which from my experience there are not) a daily cartoonist worth his/her salt wouldn’t have time for them anyway…
