Caeser: C'Mon man... you gotta mention it. Huey: Sigh... "The Patriot" has all the standard Hollywood cliches and historical inaccuracies about slavery that make the film easy for an intelligent black man like myself to despise. The token black soldier who finds nobility in fighting for his oppressor, the total omission of the brutality of slavery in South Carolina during that era... classic revisionist propaganda trash. But there is some intense white-on-white violence, and the cannonball decapitation was aiight. One star out of five.
