Tom: Hey, Huey, wait up! Huey: Yes? Tom: You would have been proud of me today. I said "off the hook" today during a meeting, and everyone thought I was just the hippest guy... Huey: Well, America's fascination with black youth culture is nothing new... And since "urban" marketing strategies have translated into big dollars for a wide array of corporate entities, the language of hip-hop has achieved a new level of mainstream validation. Tom: Well, give me something cool to say for tomorrow... Huey: Ummm... Try, "off the heezy for sheezy." Tom: But what the heck does that mean? Huey: Doesn't matter. The more confused they are, the more in touch with youth culture you seem... Get lucky and you can end up a highly paid black culture translator for the Caucasian majority, land a book deal, start a marketing company, etc... Tom: Wow... Sound jiggy-fresh! Huey: Easy, now... Don't get ahead of yourself...
