Granddad: Ok, see - here is what I don't understand about these rap videos...I mean look at 'em they got all this money bein' thrown around every which way... Nice cars, nice clothes, beautiful women carryin' on in the background...champagne, jewelry, everything they could want, so could you please tell me... Why do they always look so angr--(sigh)...never mind.
Its simple. They rap about living lives they not only don’t but in many ways can’t. As long as they do that, the life they rap about will remain out of reach, making all their money and fame feel pointless, like its not enough despite being more than most have. They can never be satisfied.
