Some ulterior and selfish motive? TV: ...And coming up next on CNN, the debut of "At the movies with Jesse and Al." Huey: Ooooooh boy...
LOL! The irony is that it would have added greatly to the seriousness and even the entertainment value of BET in 2002 if Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton had indeed reviewed movies. I’d watch! Especially harmless fluff such as “Barbershop,” which actually had some quality and integrity and a worthwhile message. (At least, those widely reported points were never in dispute. I still have never seen it myself.)
