TV: The office of Homeland Security admitted today it downgraded the terrorist threat level last week because the manipulation of the public through fear was working a little too well... Said secretary Tom Ridge, "We were hoping to bring the fear of an attack to the forefront of everyone's mind as we established the nonexistent link between Al-Qaida and Iraq, thereby swinging public opinion in support of the war". "When you morons actually bought duct tape, we knew we had gone too far..." Huey: I don't think I hear the same news other people do.
For the record, I never bought duct tape on advice of Homeland Security…
But our actions in taking the fight to Saddam and Al Queda were fully righteous and justified, and to have failed to act would have been stupid and deadly for us and our allies.
