Voice from TV: The state department denied today that a puppet show and an a capella rendition of "It's a Small World" performed by Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice for Israeli and Palestinian leaders yesterday were any indication that the president's peace plan may be in trouble...
Unfortunately, I can’t visualize a lasting peace plan between Israel and Palestine happening any time soon. They’ve been fighting for decades…..or eons. You’d have to fabricate a theatrical skit depicting such a state of affairs so they could even imagine what the peace would look like in action. Sadly…they have been fighting for so long none of them would even know how to quit fighting.
Actually, a strategy like that may even work…….eventually. First step toward peace? First, you have to talk peace…….seriously!
