My favorite portrayal of Scrooge was by George “Patton” C. Scott. When it came for the “Bah, humbug!” line, he didn’t do the “Bah” (which tends to come out sounding fake in a movie whereas it works perfectly on the page). Instead, he gave a bizarre little laugh and then trotted out the “humbug”.
