Shopping-cart rage rises to a new level, as shoppers yell at others who are texting instead of watching the lights, and passing on the right to get ahead.
That’s not a bad idea, but I imagine there’d be a lot of running the red light. And, who’s going to police the traffic light? Is the grocer going to hire more security? Not likely.
I recall speaking of this with many fellow customers. The angled mirrors were handy for customers. Wary pushers could see traffic jams and needed/wanted merchandise.
carts should be equipped with front-mounted gatling guns, which’d be especially useful at costco to clear away the clueless young housewives in the aisle ahead of you, walking four abreast, immersed in chit-chat, and oblivious to the world around them…

I have been telling people we need traffic lights for years where I work! Good to know someone agrees with me.

Don’t put one in the handicap cart jousting isle that will ruin the fun

Did you notice how the lights change more slowly in the junk food isle?

They should also check their cart driving license before letting them into the store.

Mirrors in the corners, like warehouses. Collision warning devices would be better. Air bags eventually.

Just something else for the shoppers to ignore, like the directional arrows and 6 ft. signs.
