I once worked a temp job at a place that required the men wear ties despite the fact that we did not deal with the public or outside customers. This one guy used to wear the most outlandish ties just to protest that inane dress code rule. I admired that. They wouldn’t let us women wear capri pants or open toed shoes, despite living in hot as Hell Florida
