Notice the second and third strips of today, the running race and neighbourhood scene.
While any other cartoonist would’ve done these gags with less detail in and to the background, Foxo runs the extra mile and adds background characters or scenes. Like, the runners in the background and the onlookers behind them, a three dimensional depth in every panel.
And the thrid one today is simply spectacular. Who else but Foxo would’ve done a three dimensional neighbourhood scene with such depth and perspective? In any other funny, it would’ve been a mostly two dimensional scene with little depth or details. In any other funny comic, I don’t recall seeing such skilled artwork ever. Most don’t even do perspectives properly, but Foxo excels at it. Every panel is joyful to see.
Among the comics I has seen so far in the funnies, I’ll say Foxo is the most talented cartoonist, a wonderful artist whose skill in cartooning is probably unmatched and unparalleled.
Of course there’s other funnies with good artwork and perspective. But I haven’t seen anything like this, which has such depth and detail that make every single such a joy to watch.
Even in the indoors scene in the first strip, if you notice you’ll see that two panels are at a little angle, which gives an enhanced three dimensional aspect of the couch and the scene.
Whether the scene be indoors or outdoors, Foxo gives such realistic perspectives to them, which make it an absolute pleasure to read Bozo.
And yes of course I gives a big thumbs up and a big round of applause for Foxo’s marvellous masterpiece, the picturesque pantomime called Bozo, a wonderful wordless wonder which is so blissfully brilliant.
