Sorry friends, me not keeps well and misses couple of days of BOZO and me pals here. But what better than BOZO to cheers me back to good health. Me feels greater already.
And why wouldn’t me, for BOZO is created by the tremendously talented FoXo Reardon who never needed words to tell his funny tales, told it all through his awesome artwork alone, making these excellent epitomes of pictures speaking thousand words.
And what splendid pictures they are, for looking at every panel of BOZO is like looking at a three dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details. Such was FoXo’s mastery of perspective artwork.
A self made cartoonist who drew it all by hand, a true professional who kept going despite serous health adversity till his very end, FoXo may be lesser known but was in no way any lesser than any well known cartoonists of any time.
So it no wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders called BOZO still comes like a fresh fragrant breeze even after so many decades and era later and still brings great joy and sheer cheer to many.
But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.
Spread the word, friends, so that BOZO can spread more joy and cheer to many more!
BOZO 1- Ah, Ole Buttons made the arrest, now “shaking down” his culprit for a dime! BOZO 2- How can Buttons arrest such a civic minded leader of the city, Our Hero walks back 17 blocks to keep his city clean. (If Bozo ran for Mayor, Ole Buttons would wind up patrolling the Dog Park.) BOZO 3- Now what can Bozann expect from Our Hero, arrested, has to walk 17 blocks both ways, probably worked last night as night watchman, instead of "pitching WOOO, he is snoozing ZZZ’s.
1) PUBLIC SERVICE: Arrested again a handcuffed Bozo finds officer O’ Flynn needs change to call!
2) DISPOSE OF PROPERLY: In order to stop a possible pratfall for someone else Bozo puts the banana peel in the trash!
3) LIGHTS OUT LIKE: While visiting Bozann after dinner feeling drowsy Bozo makes a faux pau that when the lights went out briefly, he falls right asleep!
