3. Maybe Umbrella Guy steals the eggs and put that theeng there.
…
For those who come in late, these fabulous fun funnies was envisioned and executed so beautifully and brilliantly by FoXo Reardon, a true master cartoonist who told his funny tales with his awesome artwork alone, without any of his characters in BOZO ever saying a single word.
An especially excellent epitome of pictures speaking thousand words, BOZO also the most pleasant picturesque pantomime where every panel is like a photograph of a three-dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details. Such was his powerful perspective artwork which brought to life a lovely lively world of BOZO!
FoXo a rare combination of both sharp wits and artistic talents which is rarely seen together in the same cartoonist, a true master and professional cartoonist whose work quality speaks for itself and as you can see for yourself BOZO is pure gold coming from a golden era of cartooning!
BOZO is pure gold coming from a golden era of cartooning! More about FoXo and BOZO in the About page.
So no wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders still bring great joy and sheer cheer to many even today.
But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.
Spread the word, friends, so that BOZO can spread more joy and cheer to many many more!
…
And of course another big thumbs up, big applause, and three cheers once again for the marvellous master FoXo’s magnificent masterpiece, the most pleasant picturesque pantomime, the ever entertaining ever energetic ever enjoyable ever excellent evergreen entertainer, the brilliantly beautiful and beautifully brilliant BOZO!
…
And yes of course many thankses to Micheal Reardon for bringing BOZO back for us all!
1. USA Memorial Day folks. All gave some – some gave all. Time to cut a chogie Bozo. Retreat. Run, Scat. Fuzzy riding by on car top. 2. Nice foot mat. Perfect hiding place and last place a thief would look. Fuzzy room 617. 3. Chicken knew what to do. Dummy laid the dummy egg. Fuzzy on the job.
To Remember… see pp. 79 et seq. of "Whistling Down the Halls. The Times and Cartoons of the Original Pantomime Comic Strip Artist. ". Bozo Goes to War.
Fuzzy goes AWOL as the cop and Bozo trade blows, taking refuge at his cousin’s apartment in the city. Together, they head to the family farm, to calm Fuzzy’s nerves. Bozo, as usual, does some things.
MISTAKEN IDENTITY- Bozo comes to the aid of the little man by knocking out the big brute….only problem little man is The Friendly Neighborhood Thief, and the Brute is Under Cover Cop! HIDING PLACE- It is just common practice to hide the key under the mat, guess go with the flow. AS YE SEW- Bozo is trying to “prime” Henrietta Hen with door knobs for eggs, some how Henrietta Hen found her own door knob. (A 3 panel Fuzzy today!)
1) What’s Going On – Marvin Gaye 2) Soldier Things – Tom Waits 3) Just a Dream – Carrie Underwood“A hero is someone who understands the responsibility that comes with his freedom.” – Bob Dylan
As Ye Sew – After seeing a movie called “Krankenstein”, Gyro Gearloose decided to try creating life by mixing up the chemicals found in eggs, pouring them into an eggshell, and putting it under a chicken that had been incubating a doorknob. When the time came for the egg to hatch, what he found inside was – a doorknob! This cartoon may have given Carl Barks the idea.
1 Bozo decides to act first and sort ’em out later. (Oops, I Did It Again — Britney Spears)
2 Bozo needed to wipe his feet anyhow. (Everybody’s Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey — the Beatles)
3 Bozo’s egg production is way down, decides to add some inspiration to the nest, and doubles his investment. (Hey Little Hen — Bunny Doyle and Orchestra)
Pssst! I assume that “sew” in #3 is meant to be “sow” (as in sowing seeds) — there’s no sewing involved that I see. I doubt it’s going to be corrected at this late date, but — in case you were not aware — I think it’s a minor error.

1. Unnecessary roughness.
2. Key keeper
3. Doubled doorknobs
(My grandfather placed similar doorknobs in a couple of brooding boxes. Told me it encouraged them to lay in the boxes and not off some place else.)

The Umbrella Man: 1st Strip, 2nd panel. Our friend is once again riding the top of a car, waiting for his chance to fly. Sigh. Will he ever learn?
2nd Strip, again 2nd panel. I do believe he’s about to enter his home.
3rd Strip, last panel. He has run away with Bozo’s chicken and the rest of the eggs.
