LOL LOL LOL !!!

It was ever thus. (o:

I can’t get our cats to understand that weekends and holidays means sleeping in. At 6 a.m. I get a tap on the shoulder and whichever cat does that, then turns to the clock as if to say, “Do you see what time it is?”

8:00!? Luxury! Felix has at it around 4:45…

I get head butts instead of tail swishes!

This starts at 5am at my house!

I’m retired so don’t have to get up at a certain time. I tend to stay up to all hour and would like to sleep past 6:00. Our kitties don’t get breakfast, they have kibble in their bowls. That being said, I STILL go thru this every single day. As soon as I give up and get up, they all find their favorite sleeping places and conk out.

Brutal! Lol!

No swishes, but whiskers up the nose…

My cats don’t get me up early. They do dictate my bedtime, though. I have to be in bed by 10:30 pm. As soon as my head hits the pillow, all three cats get on the bed and fight over who gets to lie on me. When that is settled, the two losers fight over who gets to lie on my pillow next to my head. When that battle is decided and all three are lying down, my dogs jump up and take their spots.

Hey, he’s lucky those cats let him sleep that late! Our cat will come into the hall in the middle of the night meowing, waking me up! And she HAS food and water, so that’s not what she wants.

My cat pokes his nose in my face until I get the message.

Bwwahahaha!! Poetical.

Oh yeah! or the softly patting paw….that becomes a spiked paddle razor sharp nails!!

I get the door to the bedroom pushed open with vigor and a “meow?” at 5:00am -with the occasional pause until 5:15

Yang was always made to wait outside the closed bedroom door, but he knew what time my stepfather woke up (even without an alarm clock), and as soon as the door opened, he’d follow him down the hall to the kitchen..Ralph would always have to serve him one spoonful of food first to shut him up, then make himself a pot of coffee. Then he’d go back and give Yang the rest of his breakfast.

This is my younger cat… sort of, he doesn’t do that stuff, he claws things in order to force me to wake up.

I have an automatic cat feeder so I don’t have this problem
