Ha! Elvis had no idea what the future had in store for him!

I see we’ve hit the rewind button to let the newspaper crowd catch up with the internet crowd.

ANOTHER BABY!

Back in time, or another baby incoming – going to assume this is the past though since Elvis isn´t focusing on the kids, and there have been times where he says the man is great.

Haha! The only two people you have to deal with . . . for now. ;) “So long as what ever’s in there doesn’t get out, we’re fine,” quoth Elvis. ;p

And The Man has looong hair.

I hope we are not in for MORE months of “re-runs” with this new newspaper edition of playing catch-up. While I enjoy this strip greatly, it looks like “back to the future” of intros from the past with current artwork. :oP

Guess this is a reboot, of sorts.

Well Pucky sure does like him.

Aww, that means we will have to wait a long time until we see the baby again.

Going back in time to the beginning. Georgia said somewhere that because BCN started almost as a joke without a plan, she now has many new ideas for the early years and therefore what we’ll be seeing will include a lot of new material going into more detail. I believe she said this starts before they move into the Big Pink House.

…I’m not sure I like all the “frozen smiles” on everybody but Elvis…guess i’ll get used to them…

Interesting to see how Georgia is introducing the cast of characters. Can’t wait to see how Elvis reacts to the egg the Woman is hatching!

Also impending is Tommy.

I miss the watercolors but “needs must when the devil drives”.

This time around, we see smiling Elvis early. The first time around, I think it was nothing but Sourpuss Elvis for months before we finally saw a happier expression. (I could flip through my book and find out, but it’s way over there on the couch.)

It said a lot about who Elvis was in contrast to the other two. They weren’t smiling either (no one had any mouths back then), but they weren’t in perpetual scowl mode. Here, we learn right away of Elvis’s deep affection for the Woman. And NO ONE ELSE!

He was there first after all. The Man, Puck, and Lupin are mere hangers-on.

Also—sweet Pucky-cuddles for the Man! Or sweet Man-cuddles for Pucky. Oh how I miss having cats.

Is it hairball o’clock yet for the woman?

2 – 4 years of reruns to get the dead tree people caught up with the on line audience?

Let’s do the time warp again!

As I was cleaning cat-sick off the new carpet this morning, I was hoping we would get to re-live the Woman’s first pregnancy. Especially “think of your paws”.

This strip is still good, but I miss the watercolors. They made it very different. Maybe there is a way to bring them into the new format.

Real happy they made it to print, but I really, really miss the story telling of the web platform. Hopefully once the introductions are over the little three panel format will liven up.

No complaints about “starting over” with the story line! What do old friends do when they get together but reminisce!

Awww Puck looks so happy holding on to Man. Probably when Elvis doesn’t like man!
