Is this going to be one of those “inspirational” stories about The Man overcoming his handicap caudicap and going on to greater success? Those stories always inspire me to vomit.

Do station wagons still have tailgates? I remember the ones from the 60s that could fold out flat, or open like a door. The window could either roll down or flip up like a canopy.
The boys’ expressions are priceless, as is Puck using tissues for his tears. I bet he used to cuddle the Man’s tail—after all, it looked sort of like a relative of his …

Thank you for not including the late title block on the left. I would much rather see the BCN crew as large as possible without zooming.

My 1967 122s SW has a 2 part tail gate. Half raises up, bottom half goes down flat. Very practical.

The man has darn little fur to begin with, losing his tail is CATastrophic! (see what I did there?)
