I would appreciate thoughtful feedback on something that has been nagging me. I know a lot of new readers don’t want to see spoilers, but BCN has been airing for around 4 years and has a huge old-time fan base. I only came aboard this spring, when my paper picked up the strip. I wanted more backstory & browsed “Breaking Cat News”. This gor me into “BreakingCatNews.com” which opened the whole BCN world to me. I confess I was so smitten that I binged all night & read everything the site had to offer.
I don’t see how Georgia will be able to incorporate many of her earlier strips to the tiny daily format without losing a lot of good material. I would like to see her have the freedom to simply go on from this point without having to backtrack to get new readers acclimated.
All her stories are there & free for anyone to play catch-up. I am so glad I did, as most of her pre-newspaper strips were mini-stories and series. Georgia should not be expected to re-explain characters as they appear when she already has, and freely offers them to us all!
And the website also includes bios of nearly everyone, pics of the real cats & humans, great freebies just in time the upcoming holidays, and a shelter report that will break and heal your hearts.
Please, I beg of you all to go back & acquaint yourselves with these stories so we can all go on together & not worry about spoilers! I know of no other comic strip where the artist seems to be expected to roll everything out anew. Computers are available atlocal libraries for those lacking them. And Georgia has books & goodies available online & in bookstores.

Am I being unreasonable?
