I have sad news; my HoneyBear a big beautiful older German Shepard Red Healer Golden Lab mix rescue who has shared my life for 8 years had a heart attack and died. I was cuddling her as I slept, but everyone moves around on the bed (the big nest). She got down off the bed to chew her new rawhide bone, it is still in her hand paws. Her cat boyfriends are all upset, especially Douglass a golden striped kitty Along with Ahn-Bo a little black kitty, and Schroeder, a golden medium hair golden special needs cat (blind in one eye) who HoneyBear like to groom ( his fur stood straight up like a punk rocker). I can’t believe it has been 8 years since I found her in shock on the street. I love you little angel. You have fun by the Rainbow Bridge. You will have lots more room to run and play. When she first healed up, she would take a big run at me and jump into my arms, just knowing I would catch her. I Love You HoneyBear. At times like this I ask myself why do I rescue and adopt when it hurts so much when they pass on: then I look at the other dogs and cats that surround me, under the desk, on to of the desk, on my lap and on my shoulders. Thank you Orbsters for listening.
