Halfway back to her office at the Deli “meetzncheezes”, Megan stopped and asked Tre-C if she would like to continue working with her. Her reply made Megan laugh; “Let’s see, I can travel all over the world, possibly solve mysteries, eat some of the best food I’ve ever had and keep the company of a remarkable sistercat who I’m certain I’ll learn tons from. OR, I can go back to L.A. and live out my life on a back porch.” “Don’t forget the kibble, Kitten, there was lots of kibble, you know…” And Megan chuckled as she said it.. Tre-C nodded; “Yeah, there was lots of kibble. But in all fairness, the old Man and Woman were very generous with the people food, too. The Woman was a great cook and loved to make seafood. And the treats! They bought packaged treats but they gave me little canned fishes- called them sardines. "Mmmmmm, sardines…” They both said simultaneously, then laughed at the reference they recognized from the People’s TV viewing habits. "Another time, I might just go back there,” Tre-C said. “You always have that option, Kitten. Plus, you know how to use the stream- you can go anywhere you want for a break. You should make some trips on your own. It gets easier the more you use it… providing you don’t run into anymore walls, that is”
Are we sure Elvis didn’t just fall asleep with his eyes open again? Pretty sure that’s the only other time I’ve seen him with that wide-eyed, entranced look!
What’s confusing to me is, why is the woman so deluded about the fact that the cats are going to tear up all her nice things? I don’t even get it! You can’t have nice things with cats around!
OK, orbsters and orbabies, let me try this again and see if I get it right this time: Happy Tuesday/Bluesday/Mewsday. Paul had his feeding tube out yesterday and is a very, very happy camper to be rid of it. Yum Yum is a bit fussed, though, she liked to bat at the end of it when Paul’s shirt was off, something like Elvis in the last panel: all big blue eyes and questing paw
I just love how Elvis is so protective of HIS Woman’s clock, understanding how important it is to her!! Georgia, did Elvis like Nana Dee Dee in RL or did he just know how much you loved her??
. . . in case you missed this, yesterday . . .. . . BREAKING GEORGIA DUNN NEWS! Today is her 7th Wedding Anniversary! ❤️“Seven years ago today, the Man and I got married! ❤️ If you’re a fan of both Keith Apicary’s ‘Talking Classics’ and ‘Breaking Cat News’, you may have one of the cutest accidental fandom crossovers in the history of the Internet? In any case, you can actually watch our wedding here, https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7TRJNx5VuG8 because it appeared on an episode of Talking Classics! Many thanks forever to the incredibly talented Nathan Barnatt for being kind enough to marry two crazy kids with a real weird dream!”If, you didn’t get invited to her wedding, you can watch it here . . . https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7TRJNx5VuG8Please, share your thoughts and congratulate this couple, if you like? Any good advice? ❤️ :)
Congratulations Georgia and Ryan. What a wonderful and fun wedding ceremony. Thank you for sharing it with us, and for all of the joy you have shared with us.
Back from the vet. Absolute total clean bill of health. No nasty diseases, not even any worms!
Vet thinks there is some Maine Coon mixed in from the ear tufts and some other cues. Either that or they are 6-8 weeks older than originally thought. They are 5 pounds each. Scheduled for snipping next month.
Having been a cat owner for the past 47 years all I can say is why is that clock so low? plus, if Elvis or Lupin or yes, even Puck manage to eat one of the metal pinecones then its off to the Vet ER and hoping that they have pet insurance, otherwise, its going to cost them Bhu-Cu bucks aka $$$$$
Just wondering, how many of you have made the grievous error of trying to have “nice things” with dogs, cats, bunnies, etc around? What were the results of such a disastrous idea? How badly do you regret trying to have “nice things?” Did you repeat the mistake? Would love to see your answers!! :D ROFL
This is just hilarious! Everything is perfect: Puck’s angst, Elvis protectiveness falling to irresistible desire, Lupin’s mischief-blushing embarrassment followed by anger at Elvis’ apparent hypocrisy. Perfection.
Don’t have time to read/comment today or likely tomorrow. Sigh. May you all be well and happy!
Shaunnmunn are you all right? haven’t seen you yet today, and not sure if you were on yesterday either, we miss you!! Sending love and prayers your way!
@noreenkloseNice! I especially like the “I give you big hugs!” Can you tell me, when you @ someone, does it then show up in their notifications? I was wondering if we should do that make it easier for Shaunnmunn to know folks were checking in on him, but I wasn’t sure how it worked. Then you did just that!!! Thanks!
. . . do you want to see something cute? I mean, REALLY cute? lol! :) https://www.facebook.com/GeorgiaDunnStudio/photos/a.447790771933015/2042238125821597/?type=3&theater

Behold the power of the cuckoo clock. Even good kitties are helpless once caught in its spell.

Oh, the faces in this one! My favorite is Pucky’s wince in the fourth panel, what about y’all?

Note Elvis refers to her as “My Woman.” Not “our Woman” or even “the Woman.” In times of stress does he revert to his singleton kittenhood?

Don’t eat it, Elvis, it will ruin your teeth!

As one of the cats said yesterday, “If we aren’t supposed to play with it, why did they load it with cat toys?”

This reminds my of how much finder loved to play with the “dangly” on the bedroom light.

If you think cats and dogs are destructive, try having parrots. They will ruin anything they can get to. Can’t have nice things either.
