It could be worse, Pucky. At least they’re not dueling with wind-instrument recorders. And I seem to remember that Elvis has some earphones he might be able to lend you (last seen during the peep toads story).

Poor Puck just wants to enjoy his cup of coffee. Sometimes I feel like him when I sit down for a cup of coffee at the kitchen table and get between my wife and daughter when they are actively discussing/debating something. To be fair, they both can say the same thing about myself and the other lady of the house as well at times, particularly my wife who says Amy’s chattiness must come from her Dad ;-) At least the conversations are lively and are always friendly!

I whist not to raise any issues you don’t want to see, lest I be bid to deal myself out. I have no heart for it, and though I have been called a diamond, I’m no dummy. I won’t use a rubber club to trump a bad hand. Fortunately, my hole card is a spade, so I can dig myself out of this.

Call a Friend Day: It would be better to see them, but only raise them if they look like a weak hand. Be careful what you call him or her, or you may get busted and flush.

National Chocolate Candy Day: Never mind mere money, let’s play for serious stakes—chocolates! I’ll see your five M & M’s™ and raise you two cordial cherries.
