What do you call a cross between a ferret and a cat? Ferrat or Catet? Is that even possible? How close are they on the animal evolution tree? I’m sure there is a rich, obsessed cat lady out there somewhere working on it. A gold mine if she succeeds.

Wesley’s going to write!?!? That opens so many interesting possibilities. Will he be more cogent in writing? Will they be brief missives, like “HEY GUYS! THE TRASH HERE IS AWESOME!”? Or will he fill entire pages with the equivalent of high-pitched squealing about cheese?

I’m not sure, but I think I remember seeing the woman with green hair before. She may be Burt and Baba’s Woman.

When they do the “Sophie Retrospective” at the Met, they will call this the Ferret Period.

As a ferret rescuer myself, I have been so thrilled to see the little carpet sharks profiled in a comic! I’ve saved every strip. I did want to say, not to be Debbie Downer, lol, that ferrets are obligate carnivores and lack the enzyme to process cheese, like a severely lactose-intolerant human…so I’m sure you can imagine the messy consequences. Just a hint for any future character development, lol.

Maybe they can visit her if their new home isn’t too far.
