Hello, everyone! If you’re local to Washington state and missed a chance to attend my recent ghost talk in person, you’re in luck! I’m giving it at the Snohomish library in Snohomish, WA on November 9th at 4pm. You can find more info at the Snohomish public library’s website, through our Patreon, or on the BCN FB and Instagram pages!
An added bonus to this particular ghost talk is Snohomish is famously one of the most haunted towns in Washington state and you better believe I know a bunch of the lore. The Boy and his friends sometimes walk Main Street with his EMF meter, politely checking shop walls, doors, and mirrors for ghosts, in that way that if you just gave them each a bicycle they’re ready to save the town from a big spooky scary!
It’s also a fabulous little town with a fantastic coffee shop (shoutouts to Looking Glass coffee!), an amazing vintage store (shoutouts to Wonderland Vintage! …The Alice in Wonderland name are just coincidence, but how lovely, right?) and SO many antiques shops! Great lunch spots, too! I’m particularly a fan of Jake’s Diner …That may have been the diner I mentioned missing in the 2020 Christmas special. There is no rainbow painted on the walls inside, that was something I created for the plot. However, it’s ADORABLE inside with a real midcentury diner feel and some of the best folks you could hope to pass breakfast or lunchtime with. Snohomish is a great place to lose a day in the Pacific Northwest and well worth the drive!
