Canudiens Hockey Player 1: What the hey! Theres a misspelling on our jerseys! Player 2 Didn't you hear? We were just bought by Hugh Hefner.
I don’t even know what the “Habs” means….but there’s a team called the Canadiens (which I Googled, and it’s indeed their logo.)
The joke is that if Hugh Hefner bought the team, he would soon have them playing nude….So they’d be the CaNUDiEns.
As far as I can tell, it has nothing to do with their current performance, only with Hefner’s reputation and nudity.
