I always thought Hydrox tasted better than Oreos they looked the same but flavor was very different. Recently bought Raley’s/Belair brand of look-a-like cookies and they reminded me of Hydrox. Best right out of the freezer. Also miss Mother’s Chocolate covered marshmallow creme with the light cookie part…oh and the dark chocolate covered Graham crackers.
My family lived in South Africa 30 years ago and we pined for American delicacies like Hydrox cookies. On a trip home, my wife bought ten plastic sleeves of Hydrox and packed them in her carry-on luggage. The airport security guards went wild when they saw the x-ray image and asked her what was in her bag. They didn’t believe it was cookies and had to open it for inspection. Boy, were they surprised to find cookies and not the bomb coils they looked like on the x-ray. She didn’t have that much trouble getting a frozen pizza past them.

A hollow victory… uh, maybe not so hollow… – But a victory that’s not as sweet as it would have seemed….

Why isn’t he called Hiscules, being a dude and all….?

The Hydrox disappeared, you know, sometime in this millennium.Rumor has it they were killed by elves from the land of Kee-Blor.
There is a movement afoot to hunt them down and revive them, as some people were quite mesmerised by their charms.

Varnes, …. Because “His” and “Hers” are possessive. He’d only be Hiscules if he were gay.
And Gopher…. wouldn’t that be a symptom of conjunctivitis?

“The Cracked site, while drawing attention to some interesting information, has some language issues.”-
Which is the reason why I dropped CRACKED Magazine for Archie Comics in 1990. Thanks, but no thanks.

I’ve actually never seen a Hydrox. Had lots of Oreos, though.
